Whether growth of matter perturbations at the low redshifts relevant for late-time structure
can be assumed scale-independent (as for LCDM), e.g. because dark energy does not cluster
significantly on the scales of interest. Used by non-linear models (e.g. HMcode) to decide
whether quantities computed from the shape of the z = 0 spectrum can be re-used, rescaled by the
growth factor, at other redshifts, rather than being recomputed at each redshift.
Conservatively false by default; override in specific dark energy implementations.
